Does my code ever leave my machine?+
Control Deck has no hosted cloud service. The app, decks, files, and keys stay on your machine (secrets in OS credential storage). Your agent CLIs still talk to the model providers you choose, so what leaves your machine is down to those providers and keys, not Control Deck.
Which agent CLIs are supported?+
Claude, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, Hermes, and Grok out of the box, plus native shell cards. Control Deck shows each provider's real state: installed, signed-in, or not detected.
What's the difference between a commander and a worker?+
A commander is a full agent: it can take normal jobs on its own. It can also delegate to workers when you want work to fan out. Workers carry those hand-offs, as their own cards or inside the commander's CLI. You set concurrency (1-24) and whether sub-agents need approval.
Can I control it by voice?+
Yes. Conversational mode (OpenAI Realtime or xAI Grok Voice, your own key) for hands-free back-and-forth, or local push-to-talk that runs on-device. Separate from that: system-wide dictation. Hold its own hotkey and type at the cursor, inside Control Deck or any other app, even when Control Deck is only in the Windows system tray.
Do I need an account or API keys?+
No Control Deck account. Sign in to the provider CLIs you already use. Optional memory (Ctrl Ledger) reuses a provider you choose: Codex OAuth, an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or OpenCode Zen/Go. Not a separate paid service.
What platforms does it run on?+
Desktop app. Windows today; macOS and Linux coming soon.
